Terrifying warriors, dreadblades are living embodiments of fear, striking panic into their foes wherever they are encountered. Only undead champions can inspire more horror than dreadblades.
Tyrants, foul warlords, and psychopaths often wield terror as dreadblades, though a surprising number of bugbears also follow this path. The foes of dreadblades flee rather than facing their deaths at the hands of these monsters, suffering terrible traumas as a result.
Dreadblades are frontline combatants for evil parties similar to how anti-paladins serve. They usually lead such groups through fear and violent coercion.
