A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 5th- through 6th-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours.
Elovai, master of the Wreck of the Returned, has been defeated, saving Akiton from destruction and opening the Wreck’s interior—finally!—for exploration. While the Aspis Consortium search the Wreck for magitech advancements, scrappers from Pilferer’s Paradise scrounge for valuable salvage, and the Aballonian delegation research their nodocite brethren, the Starfinder Society is on the hunt for a different prize: information. First Seeker Sarmak and the Starfinder Society know the First Ones invasion of the Pact Worlds hasn’t ended with the death of Elovai, it’s simply been delayed. Information on the First Ones and their plans could mean the difference between survival and destruction.
Analysis of the data collected so far has identified a few sites of interest within the Wreck of the Returned as well as a potential problem: a region deep in the bowels of the Wreck’s Maintenance Node that contains massive amounts of wildly fluctuating magical energy. Worried this is a sign of an imminent system overload that could cause catastrophic damage to the Wreck, a team of experienced Starfinders prepare to enter the Maintenance Node, locate the source of the energy fluctuations, and either stabilize or shut it down.
